Rotary Club of Puthur was chartered in the year 2000 and has proudly completed 26 glorious years of dedicated service to society. Over more than two and a half decades, the Club has remained committed to the Rotary ideal of “Service Above Self”, touching and transforming the lives of countless people through meaningful humanitarian and community service initiatives.
From its humble beginnings, Rotary Club of Puthur has grown into a vibrant and socially committed Rotary family, undertaking projects in areas including healthcare, education, community development, disease prevention, support for the underprivileged, and emergency relief.
One of the Club’s notable achievements is its Rotary Village, established to provide dignified living facilities and support to deserving families. The Club has also consistently responded to the needs of society during times of hardship, extending assistance to patients, families, and communities affected by natural calamities and other emergencies.
Over the years, the Club has organized and supported numerous medical camps, educational initiatives, charitable programmes, awareness campaigns, and community welfare projects, reflecting the spirit of compassion and fellowship that defines Rotary.
As Rotary Club of Puthur enters its 27th year, the Club looks back with pride and gratitude on 26 years of service, while looking forward with renewed enthusiasm to creating a greater and lasting impact in the community.
